“The Lost” wins Stage 32's Short Film Competition

July 2022 - "The Lost", our timely, new, short horror film about trying to find hope in the aftermath of a zombie apocalypse, is 1 of 6 Winners for the 7th Annual STAGE 32 Short Film Competition.

We are humbled and excited to now be screening with the Stage 32 Short Film Program at Hollyshorts '22 and Raindance '22, as well as being shared with 1000's of managers, agents and executives that are part of the Stage 32 community.

2020 - "Apart" is a new short film created by the Cortez family while during the initial CA shelter-in-place phase of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The film deals with human connection during crisis, and finding a way to endure.

"Collisions" - Congrats to Izabella Alvarez!

Izabella Alvarez, our incredible lead actress in "Collisions", won an Imagen Award for her portrayal of Itan, a yougn Latina trying to stop her mother from getting deported.

The film, which is the feature debut of director Richard Levien, is produced by Vincent Cortez, and stars: Izabella Alvarez, Jason Garcia, Jesse Garcia (Dusk Till Dawn The Series), and

Ana de la Reguera (Narcos, Nacho Libre).

After an incredible festival run, winning several awards, the film premiered on Fuse. To watch the movie, click HERE

"Dad", showcased by PBS, now available

"Dad", our intimate look at the bond between daughter and father, completed it's run on PBS’s various digital platforms.

We were honored and excited to have had this opportunity to reach so many viewers. The film is now available on our Vimeo channel: WATCH

“Life Beyond” participated in the Latino Media Market

“Life Beyond”, a new post-apocalyptic feature film project by Vincent Cortez, was presented to various interested companies and organizations at the Latino Media Market (NALIP), including Blumhouse and the Sundance Institute.

This blend of sci-fi, horror and fantasy, which looks at the bond between a mother and daughter as they are both tested by the depths of despair, was well received and we look forward to continuing to build the project.
